RIT001 - RITUAL MESS - RITUAL MESS 7”
The very first release on the Ritual imprint is one that makes us incredibly proud. In conjunction with Clean Plate records in Amherst, MA, we are releasing the debut 7” from Ritual Mess - a band which features members of seminal acts such as Ampere, Vaccine, Bucket Full of Teeth, Panthers, Orchid, Majorca and more. Recorded in 2008 and shelved at Dead Air Studios for several years, we’re glad we are helping this to see the light of day.
With a pedigree like the aforementioned, you’d have an idea what this band would sound like. You’re close, and they of course do it really well. Three tracks of blistering emo that nods to 90s greats like Antioch Arrow, Heroin and Clikatat Ikatowi, whilst retaining something totally unique.

Ritual Music and Books is a physical record store located in North Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia. We specialize in punk, metal, noise and hardcore but also have a good selection of indie, hip-hop, soul, jazz electronic and dance. The vast majority of our stock is vinyl, but we do stock CDs, cassettes, zines, books, clothing, audio accessories and a lot more.
